HOPE - HIV Online Provider Education

About the HOPE Conferences

The HIV Online Provider Education (HOPE) program is a twice-monthly conference involving several hundred doctors and nurses in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and other parts of the world. We use an internet conferencing platform for these live conferences. Each conference is also archived for later viewing.

The program focuses on topics relevant to care of HIV-infected patients in resource-limited settings. Each conference is led by an expert in the field. Participants ask questions and make comments using an interactive conferencing platform, best described as a virtual classroom.

The HOPE program is a project of the Harvard University Center for AIDS Research.
